Thank you, Rocket League community!

Hey everyone, Jamesbot here! The Ascension Protocol LAN officially concluded this past weekend, and wow…what an amazing time! First off, I want to give a massive thank you the Rocket League community for supporting our event through donations, shop purchases, viewership, and contributions from the Twitch stream. I also want to thank Chalked Cast for helping bring this event to new heights, Shopify Rebellion for letting us use their incredible space in Toronto, and DataCoach for being the first supporter of the event, even before it was announced.

When Ascension Protocol was first announced, it was a 4 player North America only LAN with a $2,500 prize pool that was supposed to be at my small studio in West Michigan. We ended up reaching a prize pool of $10,057.85 and featuring 4 NA players as well as 4 International players, and got to run the event at the beautiful Shopify HQ in Downtown Toronoto! The viewership also blew us out of the water! Across all our streams, we hit a peak of over 10,000 live viewers! We can officially say that the event was not only a success, but a huge success. Not only were the numbers great, but I (and hopefully everyone else) had a HUGE amount of fun over the weekend.

This project was intended to not only help NA ascend, but the aspiring regions and also myself personally. While these goals might be a bit harder to measure, I can certainly say with confidence that I learned SO MUCH from doing this, and it has helped me grow a huge amount.
